Crazy Thursday

This month, our only *free* day of the week has been Monday. It sucks!! Mondays are usually our recovery day and some places we like to go visit are closed on that day. Today my youngest suggested they skip band practice so we can go on outing. Mi hijo está loco!!

There is a good reason I have dubbed Thursdays as Crazy Thursday. During the school year, my youngest has short Thursday every week. Kid #2 has band practice after school and both kid #2 & kid #3 have Boy Scout meeting. Sometimes scouts meetings include patrol meetings or merit badge class prior to the troop meeting. Have I mentioned that I volunteer my *free* time quite a bit. Our Parent Teacher meetings are held Thursday mornings- I'm on the board. I'm a very active committee member for our scout troop and this year I am on the board for the band booster club. Oh yes, I try to squeeze in time for yoga classes on this day too. It helps me to keep moving forward- it's my coffee.

In summer mode I don't have too many meetings to attend or take care of committee business. It's less frantic but Thursdays remain our most impacted day of the week. As you can see, mi hijo must have had a lapse of amnesia when he asked to blow off the day.

No mijo- I have errands to run, posts to write, lunch to prepare, doctor's appointment (summer camp prep), band practice (kid #2 is running for section leader- trumpets), dinner to prepare, pick-up the man from work, parent meeting at scouts tonight (summer camp overview), and more posts to write. *Phew!!*
