OCOS stands for One City One Story. It's part of a community reading event that the city of Pasadena participates annually. It's sort of a very large book group that gets together to discuss a the chosen book of the year. I love it! Anyhow, one of the many events that surround the book selection include a live discussion with the author. That's the best part. I love to listen to authors speak about their books. It makes reading a more enriching experience for me.
For more about this great event please come on over and check out Gardens of Water by Alan Drew. If you live near the Pasadena area, I hope to see you there next year!
Happy reading!!
