A day in the life of a mommy blogger-

Most people I meet for the first time ask what I do for a living? I usually give them a blank stare before I respond- how can I begin to describe the craziness that is my life?

As a part-time working momma, I have a flexible schedule. When not at work, I scurry around my house and neighborhood to get as much done before my kiddos and husband need to be fed get home. Somehow miraculously, I manage to squeeze in time to post on my two blogs. Many people often ask if I ever run out of ideas- not a chance! My life is a bit of a circus which give me plenty of fodder to share with the blogosphere.

Take for example three days ago. Wait. Lace up your tennis shoes so you can keep up. Are you ready to follow me on a typical day? Let's go!

During the summer, I'm usually up to the sound of birds chirping outside my window as the sunshine beams through illuminating my bedroom. Unfortunately, our mornings have been disgraced with yucky overcast skies these past couple of weeks- blah! Needless to say, I was not feeling chirpy when I got up at 7am. After I got ready for the day and prepared a quickie breakfast for my clan, I jumped in front of my computer. While blogging away my heart, I responded to a few @s on Twitter, e-mails, and phone calls.

As soon as my post was up and "advertised", I rushed out the door to my sister's to lend her my arms. Let me explain- she has her two toddlers in Mommy&Me swim classes and needed an extra set of arms to help her with her boogers kiddos. At lunch, I talked to her about my morning at the Rescue Mission. I had gone there the day before for a blogger event of sorts. At that moment I was desperately wishing I had been clicking away my story on a laptop as I was sharing my experience. It's one of many posts I have waiting to go up.

After my trip to my sister's, I headed back home to drop-off my boys at band practice. Taking advantage of this time I quickly ran a couple of errands. Back home again, we all cleaned the house. Luckily, I was able to do a little blog browsing before rushing out to pick-up my husband from work. The temptation to write was creeping the whole time. We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and there I was thinking about another post to write about. Yipes!

Feeling restless at the end of the day, I picked-up a pen and paper to jot down my thoughts the old fashion way. It was the only way I could put my mind to rest so I could sleep. My husband however, had other plans for us. We chatted the night away. ;)
